bayou220 hp

I figured the horsepower for my Bayou 220. What you use is a conversion equation. First take your quad's Ft-lb of torque. Multiply that by the rpm that it was taken at. Then divide that by 5252. SO in my case I do
13Ft-Lb torque x 6000 RPM/5252=14.8Hp
What are some of the horsepowers for other quads?
13Ft-Lb torque x 6000 RPM/5252=14.8Hp

I do not think those numbers are right, think i read something from dyno jet showing it is only 7 horsepower. The torque specs for a lakota is 16.6 ft pounds. I am not certain of the 220, can't locate the owners manual for my wifes quad. My little boy has a yamaha badger 80 and it puts out 4.2 foot pounds of torque. A yamaha broushure list the torgue specs for all their machines. i am sure somebody will corect these figures for me, but i believe they are about like this, Yamaha breeze 6.2,Blaster 15.3,warrior 19.2, wolverene 18.6,banshee 33.0, Grizzly 30.

I'm not too sure if this conversion works or not. One example is my mom's 95' Pontiac Bonneville. I did the conversion for it and it said that the horsepower is lower than what it really is. The website says it has 205 hp (dyno test results also confirm this) but I got 175hp for the answer. It has 230ft-lbs of torque x 4000 RPM/5252=175hp that is not right. But that is what it said on the website for the torque and the rpm taken at..... what am I doing wrong??
