need your help guys, i'm looking on buying a new sport quad. wanted to know what is the fastest, quickest sport quad out right now. would appreciate your help.

In my experience the fastest one is the one with the most $$ in it.LOL Stock to stock probably a yfz, from the races I've seen they usually beat the r450, 450r, and 700 raptor. Highly modded the banshee is still king. Those cub motors and 14-16mil strokers make insane power. Some 150hp+

 

wait for the KFX 450 to come out then see which dominates the field

The honda 450r

 

gas gas 300 is a two stroke thats supposed to be pretty good and they can be had for around 6 grand (new) even though thats way bellow they're msrp but they have they're quirks. and are hard to find. Theres the ATKs they are supposed to be New and improved canonondales other than that I would say wait for the kfx 450 and the rumored Can Am 450 and KTM 450's to come out and see what u like most I am gonna be ridin green or orange(KTM) Next season for sure.

 

What about the ltr-r450? Or the 250r, 250r's will fly.....

 

The gas gas 300s and r450s are not as fast stock to stock as the yfz450 imo. Some of the new 450s coming out may be quick but don't buy into the hype wait until you see them before you believe how fast they are. I still say banshee. Take a stock motor with a good set of pipes, propper jetting, shave the head .030 costs about $30, lighten the flywheel about another $30 and that thing will beat ANY piped and jetted 450 out right now in a 300' drag.
