Default Seat on BF650 popping loose....

Has anyone else had this problem? This bike is 2 days old and I can latch the seat down, hop on it and ride it 10ft and the seat will be loose again....

only thing i can think of is that you really need to line up the little white pegs or bumps with the rubber holes. even not having the tabs locked in all the way in the front of the seat will cause it to come off. i know my brothers prairie 650's seat will come off if not latched on all the way, now we put a bungy on it when transporting it. and mine comes off if i dont get it lined up right, it will seem like its on there good but then wiggles free.

The fix is simple. You not only need to line up the tabs at the front of the seat, but in the MIDDLE of the seat as well. If not, it will come off everytime. Good luck.

I have a 700 prairie and the same thing kept happening to me. The dealer installed a winch and ran the wires along the frame under the seat. Check for anything that is zip tied to the frame and make sure that it isn't tied where the seat touches the frame. After moving a few ties, my seat has never fallen off since.
