Default broken tool box straps

I havent had much time to ride this year and when I got it out Saturday for a ride, I noticed one of my rear underseat toolbox straps is broken. I made it most of the day when the other one broke. I had allready removed the contents... Now I need to find some new straps to hold this thing shut. Does Kawi sell just the straps or will they try to stiff me with the whole box? If its too much, it will just come off as I never use it. Thanks.

No idea what your straps look like but I often replace broken straps with ones made from old inner tube, and the wire clips made from fencing/welding/coat hanger wire.

I got a pair of eBay for about $16 shipped. They came from the U.K. but were by far cheaper than what a dealer wanted when you added tax/shipping cost. OEM Part # 92072-1227

Shame though as online parts dealers you can find them for $5/each, but then add $15 shipping cost is nuts.

Google or eBay the OEM Pt # above. In the interim, I used a couple heavy duty rubber bands I puled out of my office.
