Default Brute 650i Backfire

I was out riding today and my brute backfired 2 times around 55-60 mph when I let off the throttle. I just changed my plugs yesterday. I gapped them to 30mm did I do something wrong? Is this some thing I should be worried about? It was about a 40 mile ride and it only happened the 2 times. Thanks for any help or info.

i'd just read your plugs (look at the color of the porcelin on the inside, or business end) and make sure your not running lean.

I agree with montyh. Since it only did it twice I dont think you have anything to worry about, especially since you didnt note that it has done it before. Was it unusually hot outside? Have you ridden in similar weather conditions? What altitude were you with this backfire? Heat and altitude will give you lean conditions. Also I see that you are running the K&N which if not oiled properly will flow alot, giving you a lean condition.
