One thing I didn't like is your left leg gets hot down by your calf. I put in a switch to run my fan in manual when i'm going slow on trails ect. seemed to help a little. Was told its the nature of the beast.....................Rick

Harley01 How do you like your 06 brute 750 any problems with it? If I put 27" mud Bugs do I need to put a clutch kit in?

bansheecraze32............I like it so far. No real problems yet. I did get a dynateck cdi but it ran terrible. Dynateck said I needed to install a dynojet kit to make it run. About the larger tires, I can't answer that. I still have the stock tires...............Rick

Default Looking to buy new bf 750, need help!

I'm going to buy a new 07 BF 750I tomorrow or the next day. I spent the week end riding my cousins and love it.

I have two questions for you guys.

1. I plan on riding trails with my kids but also plan on hitting the mud. Can anyone recomend a good tire for both, I under stand the stock tires don't cut it.

2. I also plan on buy a quad for my kids to share. My kids are 12yoa boy and 14yoa girl as I understand it the dealer will not sell me a quad for my kids over a 90cc. They both rode the Yamaha 350 4x4 this weekend and seem to handle it fine. I can't see spending the money for a 90cc machine that they will get bored with. Any thoughts?

Thanks for any replies

stock tires are junk. i have pirelli mudweisers on with ams rims these tires are hard compound they bounce off rocks with no sidewall damage, good in mud but a little rough on asphalt! my buddy has mudlite radials nice mud tire and smooth on hard pack but he already cut his sidewall. too soft!. get yourself a penlock front differential lock from hilifter so you dont have to hold the lever when you are muddin also might want to ground the rev override button so you dont have to deal with that in the mud hole. also when you are fueling it up pull the white tube from inside your gas tank with your fingers and you will get 1 more gallon of fuel in the ole girl!then put the tube in and go have a ball!

If they don't know their actual ages, they will sell them to you!

I am thinking of switching to a BF. The tire clearance is an issue with me also, can anybody tell me if a 27" Bighorn will fit without rubbing, and are 4+3 rims need for these tires. I'd like to run the stock rims if possible. I assume the clutch kit isn't really needed with all that power. I plan on only trail riding. My boggin' days are pretty much over! Thanks in advance.
