What spring?????????
Hey man..
If all you want is a step up from the stock spring, I would either go with an EPI pink or the Dalton blue. Neither has a aggressive stall and is great for trail riding. The advantage they have over the stock spring is they both do a good job at getting rid of that dead spot the V hits around 40 mph. Not a huge performance gain, but a gain well worth the $20 it will cost you.

I agree with vtwiner. The dalton blue or EPI pink will not make it a rocket by no means. If you get and orange/ blue it has a little stall (not noticeable after a few rides) and it will really wake it up. If you read the finally lined em' up post, you will see that I can beat a rappy 700 for about 400 feet. I have more than just a sping but it will really help your bike with the HMF duals.

Nope, no special tools. A socket set will do fine... Go to http://www.700v.com/primary.htm and it will tell you what to do.
