Here is somethin you won't here by most people (honest truth....) My cousin recently bought a 2002 polaris 400 we went riding this past weekend i was on my bf650 (now for sale)and of course no comparison in power but in real world riding he flat owned me, especally in the muddy trails it got to the point where i just threw on a strap before entering the mudd trails, and i was so impressed that i went and bought the new 800efi, I absolutly love this quad!!! rides like a dream and power out the wazoo. i have another friend that has a bf750 and another with an outy800 and one with a king and the poor sap on the rinny, and the popo is right there and on topend its in the top 2, i tell ya what add the weight to the bomb and the brute and see wich one comes out on top in a 100yard race, i ride with alot of people and we ride hard and everyone breakes down, so dont even go there on dependabilits and all of that bs, these new popo's are awsome bottom line.... so let the arguements fly but the truth is out.

And by the way these quads are all stock, tires and all. if it was all about modding, you could take an 1988 350 fourtrax and modd it out and do better than any quad out there so i dont care about hearing about what if's and modd this....

Well first off your stock tires on the Brute SUCK! I ride with 2 Polaris 700 EFI's I have a 02 650 Prairie and spank them in Drags,Mud,and track races. Dependability? My buddies 700 polaris has warped the valve cover, nice huh? has had it to the dealers twice already for other things. You like you Polaris more than your Brute? Then stay on the polaris forum. My older bro has a 750 Brute and kills me and those 2 others we ride with. I think you sniffed too many gas fumes filling up that 800 to realize whats really up.Why you started this tread who knows?

mud mostly has to do with ground clearance. so i think thats where the 650 BF sra suffers. well not suffers but its where irs machines do better. thats all, try having that polaris 400 keep up with the bf 650 on woody trails or rrbeds, SEE YA! dont get me wrong all machines have their strong points and their week points, its all personal preference.

ohhh i see you buy a 4x4 to race through the trails, well let me tellya if i wanted that i think i would have bought a sportquad, im talking real life riding, he had no problems kepping up through the trails, do you know how imbarassed i was when ole 400 was having to pull me through that muck, and it was not even that bad, not just the mudd we went through some crossings and i was needing pulled out pathedic, im just saying if you want a 4x4 for real life sanairos then stay away from sra 4x4's

yea, i'm no mudder, but diddn't Mike Walker win the Highlifter Mud Nationals last year on a Prarie 650 (SRA)?

that wasn't no neighborhood mud hole, that was the national championships.

This is no joke, my wifes cousin went out and bought a new 2006 polaris sportsman 400, we went out on the trails and we were pretty much pulling him out of the mud holes, he was so disapointed with the polaris, the next weekend he went and traded it in for a kingquad, that polaris could'nt go through the mud could'nt keep up on the trails, it dosent get any more real than that.
