man kawie should of made the kfx700 clutch!!!!!!what where they thinking????does anybody kno the answer????

 

i love the cvt tranny, but they should have made a manual tranny as an option.

 

aren't every utility atvs automatic?lol yea, they should have made a optional version with clutch and make loss sum pounds

 

well i mean i like the CVT to but man they couldve cut down the weight with a manual tranny!!!!!and it wouldve been faster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

Thats not what they wanted, They had Suzuki make them the KFX400 and now they are makeing the KFX450. There are chain conversion kits you can buy if you want to save weight. IMHO the V is the one of the nicest trail quads out there, you still have the 700 v-twin powerplant and can relax. not to mention Nothing around here can touch mine in a drag.

 

They probably didn't want it to be exactly like every other sport quad out there, seems like there are already plenty of options for people who want to shift.

 

I think they were aiming at a different group of buyers. They werent trying to make a manual tranny, mx type quad, they were trying to make a tough, fast trail machine. Thats my opinion, if buyers want a manual tranny, should have looked at the KFX 400, or waited the the 450. It was just a new idea, and it seems to be growing on people. Look at the new bomb renegade... Pretty much a fast, 4x4 kfx.

 

All of you have good points but I would still love to see a chain drive manual V. If you really look at the market most other manufactures have something similar, Raptor, DS. The raptor is known as a good trail machine and the DS is an excellent desert racer. Just imagine a 400lb v twin powered manual it would be a torque monster and with good suspension would be a great trail bike. Enough torque to cruise in 2nd or 3rd without shifting much and topend that would pull for days. For those who are like me and enjoy drag racing a 400lb manual V would just about be perfect.

yea c fastfat boy knowz wut im talkin about a 400 pond V TWIN bike!!!!it would be dominating!!!!!atvstevo1337 why would it be a differnet quad?????it would be alot alot faster if thats wut u mean by different!!!!lol imagine the top end of the kfx700!!!!!lol thats the problem with CVT u cant have alot of top end like the leading quadz!!!does anybody think they will make the kfx700 a fuel injection anytime soon????????
