Default Rear Winch mount

I just traded in my 05' Kodiak 450 for an 06' BF750. I love it! Anyway, I was wondering if there were any other options for mounting a winch on the rear besides the Warn multi-mount. Also, my buddies and I are pretty disappointed in our Warn 2500's. I was looking at the Mile Marker PE3500 and I was just wondering how the Mile Marker winches were. I read good stuff about them but I just wanted some real-world feedback. For the price they seem hard to bear. It took 3 of us to pull one guy out of a mudhole last night. It was mississippi river gumbo but still, I noticed my winch really struggles just pulling out of a river bottom. I doubt there is much difference in the Warn 3000 compared to the Warn 2500, but I may be wrong. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have a milemarker PE2500 on my Eiger and love it. I have never had a problem with it and it gets a work out some times everything from riding to house chores at my parents house. I acutally bought a second one for the back of my quad because I like them so much be have not had a chance to mount it yet being deployed to the middle east right now but when I get home I will look into it. I would not hesitate to buy one at all, I think that you will really happy with one. You could also try a ****** block to increase your pulling power. Hope this helps.

Believe it or not, we were both using ****** blocks. I know he was stuck pretty bad but when you need to get someone out, you gotta get em out. There are no other means of recovery where we ride so we really rely on our winches. I think I am gonna try one out and mount my Warn on the back. Shouldn't be too hard to fab something up.

My MileMarker PE2500 is fantastic. We dont know what mud is out here but, for uphill rocky dragging your a$$ out, it does pretty well. The 3500 ought to be that much better. Just keep and eye on current drain.
