New KFX 400, Warranty

Nww KFX 400, Warranty
Should i get the extended warranty with my kfx400? Its like $779 for 4years? But when its added to the load i have to pay intrest with it aswell. So its really more? I ride rough but not hard. Was after every ride and will take care of it. Thanks Jordan

Just my .02 - extended warranties are a waste of money. It's added profit to the dealers, since they're banking that you won't need it.
I have never taken an extended warranty on anything I have ever bought over the years. Guess what - I haven't needed one yet. I'm thousands of dollars ahead of the game.
I was at a Toyota dealer once and after I decided to buy the car, he started to push the extended warranty on me. "Well, you never know..." So, I said to him that I was confused, since he had just gotten done telling me how great and reliable the cars are, and now I should get an extended warranty?
You should have seen him fumble for words.

If you want one save your self some money and buy one on eBay instead. You can get the GTPP for a lot less than the dealer is going to charge you for it.
I think I paid like half owhat the dealer wnated but it may have been less.

I would have loved to see the dealers face when you said that, thats what i think about cars and such. The quad will be put through more.
I talked to the dealer today and he got a little upset with me when i said i wanted to cancel it. The warranty is not through kawi its star something, he said it covers alot more then the GTPP. He said it covers bushings, bearings, shocks and such. the gtpp covers factory defects and he said he would sell that one to me for $400 when i said i could get it else were for that (ebay) Im thinking if i got a 4X4 maybe the better warranty but for a sport quad thats really less to go wrong, thats one reason i went with a sport. So i may cancel the 779 warr and get the GTPP. What yall think?
