Does anybody, besides me, race Mojaves?? I'd like to know what mods you've done and how you do against Warriors and 400EX's. Also, post the links to your local tracks if they have one. Thanks!!

2000 Mojave-Cobra Alum exhaust, UNI Filter, 142.5 main jet, VP 103 Octane, 13/38 gearing, MotionPro twist throttle/kill switch, DG Aluminum nerfs, Turf Tamer rears, Pro Racing handle bars, Maier smooth hood, and cut front fenders.

 

what kind of racing do you do? i was thinking about getting into some racing and i want to know what the mojave is best at

 

I race 2 types of tracks, Supercross and Motocross. The Mojave does very well, but it's a bit too narrow. I find myself using way to much body english in sharp turns. I would recommend switching from the Kromelite nerfs to a Aluminum. WEIGHT! Our bikes way to much for motoX style racing, so the more weight you can shave off, the better. I've taken off the front mud flaps and support, radiator overflow, front fender support bracket, skid plate, the black storage box above the spocket, and I replaced the headlight hood with a 'smoothy' hood from Maier.
