Default A-Arm guards

Well, I tore a CV boot today so I got to looking at a-arm guards. The ones on this website http://www.utahsportcycle.com look like they fit good and add alot more protection. I thought I saw some diamond plate ones somewhere but I cant find them now. What do you all have on yours? Cheaper in the long run to just put them on than to spend the time replacing boots all the time. I ride on sandbars alot on the river and there is alot of driftwood. I figured it would be one of the front ones that went but I guess I was wrong.

make your own is great, if it's an easier option for you. I picked up the aluminum products guards right after I bought my 750. They look great, awesome protection. Not sure about riding in winter with them though. They hold mud a little, so snow would pack in and if I don't keep them cleaned out they could freeze into a big ice chunk around the shafts.
I can take a pic later today if ya want.

Ive got some large heavy Oxlites on mine. They do hold some snow, but I rarely have snow to ride in.
