Default 700 v force 2004 no oil presure acording to light

I got a 04 carbon v force with about 200 km on it. Out one day riding not to hard or any thing i noticed the oil presure light on, so i checked the oil and it was right on the mark, not making any differint sounds or anything so i continued on my way home, got home changed the oil filter and oil no change, changed the oil presure switch and still no change. so i took out the new switch, put my finger over the hole started the bike took my finger off the hole and guess what? squirt squirt. and i don't know if this is normal or not but i took out the dip stick with it running and guess what? mist mist mist of oil. Now i do see an other square oil filter on the parts list but where does it go? OR got any ideas also on rev up the light goes out

No Oil Pressure?
DO NOT ride anymore!
Or you will face a very expensive repair. Good thing that you did some homework by checking out the basic stuff. Now, you need to do some hardcore stuff:

First thing First.
Hook up an oil pressure gauge. Remove the oil pressure switch and fit the oil pressure gauge fitting. It should read around 70 psi at about 3/4 throttle (~4500 rpm).

What can be wrong?
> Oil pump might be worn out or damaged - need to split the cases to check/replace.
> Oil pressure relief valve might have come loose or become defective - need to split the cases to check/replace.
> Meshed wire pick-up screen (the one you saw on parts list) might be plugged up - need to split the cases to clean.

Good Luck.

its more than likely the oil sender, down by your filter. Mine did this several times when getting it wet. Pull the black cover back and make sure it has a good connection. Use some silicne in the cover to keep water out and you should be fine. If when you do all this and your light is still on, refer to above post

I believe the original poster already replaced the oil pressure switch/sender unit and it did not help.

but what kind of presure at idle? because it wil blow it out at idle, also there were no filings in the old oil it was actualy still cleen. but what about those oil tubes the steal external ones are those pressed in there or do they just pop off half easy after you take out the bolt? I just don't to rip the guts out yet it only got a couple hundred km on it
