LAKOTA VALVES PLEASE HELP!!!!
#4
Ok so The valve caps are on the engine head, under the gas tank, right? Ok, so after I remove the front fenders, tank, and valve cover, and check the valves how do I go about adjusting them?

Ok I just watched a video and saw everything pretty much...you need to change shims to adjust them. Removing the shims looks tricky. The vid was boring, but it sure beats buying a repair manual!

please spend the $15 and get a repair manual. that way your will be able to handle many jobs without asking for step by step info on forums such as this . im not being rude..i buy manuals for all vehicles i own.

The reason why I don't want a manual is because I can do everything on the bike accept for internal engine repair so in my opinion it's a waste. If you find a 15 dollar repair manual you tell me. Cheapest I found so far was 25 dollars.

It was at google for a two cylinder engine with spacers so it was pretty much useless when I had the engine apart lol. I was amazed at how simple it really was. I set them with feeler guages now.
