More powerful........hmmmm nope
harder hitting..........not sure, but it's not the motor, it's the cdi
higher compression.....yes
straighter intake tracts.......thought they were the same, not sure what an advantage it would be
higher performance cams..........they are the same

Same 633 motor with 750 cams and a few other parts. Don't get me wrong they both are very similar, but the 650 is no better than the 750

the 750i can be made to be a tad better machine with more ground clearance. Either one is a great choice, but don't quote everything that is written in forums.

Roofer!
I quoted that info directly from the ATV Action magazine October issue
where they review the Brute Force 650.

Didn't mean to offend. That part of my reply was for everyone. I think there was a topic on here about that write up in the mag. and how alot of it was incorrect. I have, however heard many times that the 650 does seem to hit as hard as the 750 (from mostly 650i owners and a few 750 owners). Most of these machines is ignition and clutching. Although, when all is equal, there is no replacement for displacement.

No worries..
I was just sharing what I had read.
Also had heard from the dealer and other riders
that the 650i is a hella fast machine that keeps up with the 750i.
Actually, I would have bought the 750i had the local dealership
had one in stock at the time I purchased the 650i.

When I read the article , I got excited as it confirmed the rumors
and conversations thaat I had experieinced.

Well my experience is first hand. I think rider weight has a deal with it also. '06 650i green, it does have a harder hitting powerband by a good deal, and with me weighing a bit less than my friend it will also outrun his 750, this is the bonafide truth. But if he gets a good enough jump then yea well it would take forever to catch em. If we are side by side rollin along at say 25-30mph and punch them its close but i start pulling away. Both are friggin awesome so it doesnt really matter i say, the 650i also sits 1/2 inch higher or so. THEY BOTH NEED SOME DAMN STORAGE SPACE BESIDES THOSE PLASTIC FENDER POUCHES

You mean 750 sits higher, right? Otherwsie your friend must have been beating on his suspension for awhile before you got your 650.

Naw man, i aint calling you wrong or nothing, but i remember reading somewhere the frame statistics where the 650i i have is indeed higher at the handlebars, our friends notice it also, almost immediately. I think it has something to do with the year model, his brute is an '07 750i camo, mine is '06 650i woodsmen green. Theres no mistaking it, we swapped riding and the riding style on his 750 is more low slung, the handlebar feel that is, feels drooped down a bit more. When i hop back on my 650i, it definitely feels taller. If you can find the frame stats by all means do, i just remember reading it, cant remember where your comment was funny though lol. ahhh, it's an '07, now I understand.

For the '06 models, the 750 sat higher and has higher ground clearance. I always thought the '07 750's looked kinda funny to me.

The only difference in appearance that I noticed between the 750i & 650i was the front bumper guards.
The 750i is solid while the 650i is hollowed out in the center.

Yea, unfortunately i never got a chance to looka at the original brute forces. Theres several little minor differences that mean jack crap, decal and bumper etc. His sais 750 4x4i just below instrument pod mine only sais 4x4i lol. I was feeling good after i got my 650i about being sort of unique in my area here in southern arkansas, but now people i know are blowin up everywhere with brutes lol. Hows that Sportsman 800 comin along TTP?
