.what should I be look for? funny noices from some where? tie rods , carbs give me any thing I want to buy but I want to know her weaknesses


he said all stock.50-75 hrs on it

can I mod the stock exhaust on these?

You can definately put an aftermarket exhaust on it. I have seen single and dual silencer systems. It is basically the same motor as your Brute, and I believe they have some of the same issues with tie rods and other little things.

 

They do say the tie rods,,,but i still got the stock ones on and its doing ok,,,but other then that its just like and other quad,,some things just go out ,,got 300 hrs on mine and its still good.. ..Yes u can run,,single,,,or,,,duals....but u will have to rejet it and open your air box up,,,or the pipes are going to get realy hot,,

 

Only issues are tie rods and ends, and possibly a sticking choke.

I actually never had any issues with my tie rods and ends until I struck a tree with the left side. So they are actually pretty decent. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Swing arm bearings may be starting to rust out. While riding it about 1-3 MPH keep turning (swerving) right and left and listen for a clicking sound in swing arm area. Also push down and pull up on the rear grab bar and listen for the noise. Reason bearings don't last long is because moisture gets trapped in housing, cheap factory bearings, IMO they should have been manufactured with stainless steel.

 

If you don't mind the CVT and little hefty weight, get the 700. It's an awesome machine you can have lots of fun all day long.

 

I have an MBRP dual exhaust system I just took off, as well as JD Performance SS tie rods, with stock ends on them if you're interested.
