Default exhaust help?

HMF, Muzzy, FMF, Pro Circuit, LTE I think, and alot of other companys offer full systems for your bike. As to which ones the best, well that's all a matter of opinion. I don't know of any shootouts done with these systems being compared. What you'll find more than anything is people saying the one they have is the best mostly based on it's the one they have. I say look at them all. Find the one that fits your noise expectations and one you think looks good and is priced reasonable. Once you narrow it down then maybe someone could be of more help based on there experences with a certain brand. Happy Shopping

Sounds like what they are trying to do is sell you a slipon exhaust at the price of a full system. Slipons generally come with the rear head pipe already mounted to the muffler and you use your stock front head pipe. Or a short section of front head pipe, not the whole head pipe, and use your stock rear head pipe. Or atleast the ones I've seen have been that way some may be different. But your dealer is full of B.S. a full system WILL come with both front and rear headpipes and muffler. Check on ebay you can usually find decent deals there is you look enough. From my experence if your not sure about something NEVER take a dealers word. It almost always seems like they are out trying to screw people. You figure they could make a decent enough living without having to be that way but any more I guess it's the way of the world. Like I said before check ebay and I'd tell your dealer he just lost all of my future busniess.

No problem. Don't even bother with your dealer he obviously dosen't know what's avaliable for his own products. Like I said before try ebay or even some of the companies direct if you have questions about a specific system. Good luck and happy shopping
