Default Brute Force 650 vs. 650i?

Has anyone ridden both? How much of a difference does the IRS make? I'm now about two weeks out from a purchase and this may seem petty, but the reason that I'm considering a solid axle is because I'd really like to have it in Team Green. #1, it reminds me of the Tecate that I had once upon a time, #2, it would match the 90 that I'm buying my daughter, which she would think is pretty cool. #3, I wouldn't mind saving the $500.

That said, I'm not going to do it if we're talking a very big difference in ride quality. Opinions?

I have not rode a sra 650. I have always owned irs's. Besides the cost being less on the sra. The reason most people like the sra over the irs model is they do not lean in the corners and they are easier to power slide the rear end. On my 06 650i it handles as close to a sra as you can get with the ride of the irs. The irs's do ride smoother and plusher. For the riding I do. The irs is the only way to go, period. A couple other things to think about. The sra is $500 cheaper. but may have a less than $500 resale value when it comes to trade or sale. Also if you by the sra and decide that it does not ride as good as you wanted. It will cost you allot more than $500 to trade. Don't rush your purchase. Ride both of them and keep asking allot of questions before you make the plunge.
