KFX400 VS KFX700
What everyone doesent take in to count was that the V wasent made for raceing, kawi made it to be one of the most competitive trail quads out there, the thing weights more than my 4x4 for god sakes! but takeing this into count we almost always are putting are V's up against these little lightweight 450s, and evryone thinks it's retarted we lose but think about it. look at the mods most of these guys are putting in just to beat us stock but thats not my point. in drag raceing stock vs stock my V never had and challenges. top end races against 450rs and things of that manner im not goign to lie the V has no chance. but somewhat like the banshee the V has almost limitless possiblilytys of moddifing it to be easily a very competiive bike against all the newer 450s. My V has a 730kit in it with 36carbs cut carb springs, clutch milling with epi red spring. air box modded, trail cams mini ms mod dual hmfs and VDI CDI. now, I hit my rev lim atjust over 84mph on pave. still leaves me vulnarele on top end but in anything less than 600-800 feet drags I dominate ussually with less than 5 but more than 2 bikes lenths sometimes more. in 300 ft i can get almost 8 lenths. The V is definately underrated but both overrated at the same time. just my 2 cents sorry if I was offensive to anyone dident mean to be

I must admit the old guy from Corona has a pretty quick 700 and it is the ultimate tow truck as well. I have had the displeasure of being towed in by it at least twice. The 700 if done right can be scary fast as is the one we have been talking about. If you put enough money into a Z400 or a LTR 450, they will run pretty close to any 700. It all comes down to how much money you are willing to spend top run with the big boys!

Gotta Love Lake Havasu; After riding season it turns to River time. Buddy, you just got your wife a 700... It is plenty of machine for most.(Keep it stock)..Take care of your wife and keep her safe... If she insist on something, just throw in duel exhuast. It'll sound wicked but won't do anything to it's performance (barely)...

Thanks "1". It's river time all the time. Not crazy this time of year.
I wanted a sporty 2X4 that i wouldn't have to modify and be able to go to Glamis or the quiet woods up in Williams,AZ. She has a 400 Scrambler and the clutch kit and exhaust makes it difficult for some types of riding.
Maybe now she can keep up with me on my DS650 but I'll let her get some riding time in first.
