I took my brothers 96 or 97 Bayou 220 out yesterday. I was riding on some pretty rocky terrain (yellepit outside Tri-Cities...very fun) and stopped for a bit and noticed oil running out fairly fast. I got back to the truck and loaded up. There is when I noticed it was the little peephole that was broke. I'm not sure how I hit it since it is fairly well protected but there are rocks everywhere there. I'd like to fix this for him but don't have a service manual. Is it fairly easy to fix? Any pointers? Thanks.

You need # 52005
It's like $8.
Should be able to pop out the old one w/ a screwdriver and press the new one in w/ a socket.

Cool...thanks! Can you pop it out from the outside or do you need to remove the case cover?

I'm still not sure how I broke it. Must've been a very lucky shot from a rock though I think I would've noticed it hitting my foot too.

You should be able to get it from the outside.
I would wedge a small screwdriver between the lip of the seal and slowly pry it out. Work your way around it. Once it is deformed a bit it should pop out. Clean the hole and install the new one.
