07 bf 750 wont start. looking for insight!!??
took my 07 brute force for a 40 mile ride this weekend, started and ran fine all day! started the motor and let it warm up before i unloaded into the garage soon as i rode it into the garage it stalled and has yet to restart, i did run it low on fuell this weekend but not totally empty it has spark, and will fire with a shot of ether. opened the carb drains and a small amount of fuel came out of both, about a fith of an ounce from each. just wondering if anybody else has encountered this same problem?? -dan oh and yes i did refill the gas tank before the last time i started it!

First before you haul it down to the Dealer is:
Your Fuel Tap.
It is located under the Control unit (under the seat).remove the control unit to access the Fuel tap. Turn the fuel tap from "On" to "PRI".
If the BF starts and idles fine, then turn the Fuel tap back to "ON" .

tried turning the tap to pri and turning the eng over, with no luck. that was yester day. went to the garage to night gave it full choke hit the start button and it fired right up. so i dont know what the deal is, but now i dont trust the damn thing to start. at least if something was broke and i had it fixed. that would gimme piece of mind.

Sometimes those little gremlins can be a pain. Sometimes you need to check thing 1 by 1 to corner the problem. Check to see if you have spark and then fuel. I think from the sounds of it you have a fuel issue. But don't know for sure. It is a good thing it started though.

That's what it sounds like to me too.^^^^You ran it out of fuel so you had to give it time to get the air out of the fuel system and fill the carbs. That takes quite a few revolutions of the engine to do. When you turned it to prime you fixed your problem.
