Anyone in the market for a new utility quad should pick-up the new dirt wheels mag. It has a nice section with a shootout of the top utility quads of 2007. As usual alot is personal preferance, but theres some good information.

yeah it does give some good info but they are some jaded jerks that never have to shell out the money we have to to enjoy the new machines. plus very rarely mention reliability issues. let em have to actually buy the machines and live with them a couple of years and see what kind of review they have.

I don't care what the article says. It is my hard earned money that pays for my quad. I test drove or have ridden all of the quads in that test. I purchased the 750 brute camo and a 650 brute camo. To me they are the best atv's out there. Not to mention the best priced ones. For the most part I don't read to much into them tests. They seem to give the ones the highest reviews. The manufacture that gives them the most money or machines. Just go ride all of them and let your own mind be the judge on witch one to buy. Not to mention the best price. Needless to say. It's Kawasaki all the way for me.

Dont think that just becouse I read that article it changed my view. I also have ridden all of those bikes, and would not trade my BF 650i for any of them. Like I said before, alot is personal preferance. I think I made a wonderful choice with the Brute, it does everything that I could dream of. And even after spending money on tires, ignition and jets, I still have spent less than any of those bikes..... oh and I can smoke em all.

It's a 650/700 class shootout. Not a bad write up.
Outlander 650 and Brute 650I were close, both at the top. Grizz 700, Sp 700, KQ700, and Rincon seemed to be all tied at 3rd. The AC 700 came in at the bottom overall. It was a huge mistake AC going to that suzuki motor.
The polaris did best in mud. Of course, look at the tires. Outty was barely faster than the BF, but had weak parts that got bent up. Sp700 and Rincon had the best ride. Bf had the lowest price.
The thing that surprised me was what they said about the KQ700 mileage. They said the BF got better. I have a hard time believing that.
Also, their 2007 model specifications chart is way off on some models. Check out the BF650i.
