Brute Force 650 problems w/ 4x4

I just bought a brand new 05 Brute Force 650 and the 4 wheel drive does not want to engage when the button is pushed. Any help would be nice. Thanks for any help yall have to offer!

the brute system requires you to roll foreware a few feet for the 4x4 to engage.

Some kick in faster than others so try and leave yourself plenty of room until you get used to your particular bike.

Thanks for the help its nice to know to put in 4x4 before entering the mud hole or difficult terrian.

just had mine fixed it was the acuator on an 05 brute

I love Kawis V-Twin in my AC, but im glad i got ACs 4x4 system, no pun intended. I love the BF, i just think it would benefit to get the instant 4x4

If I wanted to buy a heavy AC I would have, but I wanted the kawasaki for its light wieght and power. No pun entended!
