Brute Force 650 problems w/ 4x4

Default Brute Force 650 problems w/ 4x4

Some take more Roll than others. 10 ft seems a bit compared to either of my 750s. Both the '05 & '07 will kick-in 4x4 within 2 feet of rolling forward @ speeds below 7mph.

If there is nothing flashing on the meter, you shouldn't normally worry about it.

Here is some tech info:
It is not really a function of distance that determines the 2WD and 4WD shifting. It is rather a speed reqirement, data trasmitted by the speedo sensor - the control unit's EEPROM is programmed to shift betwen 0.5 and 12.5 MPH only. This is to prevent damaging any engagement gears. That's why you don't see the LCD meter changing between 2WD and 4WD at cetertain speeds (<0.5 MPH and >12.5 MPH) regardless of distance you traveled even though you toggled the switch a while ago.

hey i have an 05 brute force can you describe the symptoms of your actuator problem this one acts like its not getting powerto switch but there are so many sensors iam not sure just wont go to 4x4 any help appreciated thanks
