can one of you guys tell me which brand of aftermarket exhaust system gives you the best bang for your buck,they all seem kind of pricey,will they actually give you a hp increase(jetting etc of course)

 

I've been running the supertrapp IDSX full system on my 05 brute650 for over a year and I am very happy with it. I think I paid $340 at rocky mountain atv. Fit great, no problems. If you want a loud pipe then supertrapp isn't the one you want. It has a good sound its just not that loud. I felt an increase more in bottom end trq than top end hp.

 

Running an HMF utility series here. Great pickup on the bottom end and mid range. If your looking for something with power go with the HMF but if your klooking to stray within a decent range of noise, definetly stay away from the HMF. Mine is definetly too loud to be sneaking around. I believe the HMF Penland exhaust for the Prarie;s is even louder than the Utility series. I heard the Big Gun's were a good selection for the V-twin's along with Muzzy (but you gotta buy the whole system for the Prarie)
