4x4 light blinking

Default 4x4 light blinking

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] i have a prarie 360 4x4 and lately the 4x4 light would blink and it would drive by it self how can i fix this and is this a problem thanks

Yes, your quad has a problem - the EBC actuator could be squeezing on the drive converter when it is not supposed to. That's why your quad is trying to move when it is supposed to stay still when just idling. This can aslo happen if your idle rpm is too high. So, check/adjust your idle speed before you suspect EBC actuator or other related parts such as Control unit.

where can i find this EBC actuator and i adjusted the the idle and that was fine. but it only drives by itself when the 4x4 light is blinking and then i shut my quad off and roll it until it goes in gear and the belt makes a noise and its fine.

The EBC actuator is located on top of the CVT cover, about the size of a little kid's hand. The EBC actuator may not even be bad after all. It could be the defective control unit that is sending a wrong signal/volatage to the EBC actuator which is just taking an order.

o ok thanks should i bring it to the dealer then to get it fixed because i dont think i can do it myself and i bring myquad there all the time so i think thats what im going to do thanks for your help.

If your quad is still under warranty, you defitnitely should take it to a dealer for repair, especially on electric problems which can reoccur.
