I went from riding my P650 to my BF750 and let me tell you it's a big difference. The power difference is amazing. Yes, power slides are a little harder, but same as the Prairie, they need tires and rims. Watch a few of the videos of the brutes. You'll want to go buy one tomorrow.

BTW, that sounds like a good price. I paid more than that for mine back in June of last year.

Thanks again for you input guys, it is much appreciated.

I'm going to purchase one, either by summer or hopefully fall. I'm trying to get some more side work and would like to pay for it in cash.

Those prices at Troy City Garage are always the same. Its only a three hour ride from me so that's where I will be purchasing the machine. I really like the Blue Brute Force 750, but that is an extra $300.00. I may save my money for that one, or go for a Green Brute that costs $6,299.

As for power, I'm sure that I will never use all of it, but like to have it when needed.

IronBear,

If you're going to wait until the fall - I'd say get yourself in an '07 leftover in October/Nov. You'll most likely get a better deal than what you can get now.

Or you could get an 08'!! I would imagine they'll probably be pricey though, if they make them an 800 EFI. My recommendation to you is wait until the 08' comes out and see what they have to offer. If they're to pricey, than buy a left over. Just my opinion.

I purchased my 06 650i camo brute for $5800.00 out the door. I have herd of even better deals than that. You could wait till the 08 comes out. But I would take a good hard look at the ones that are available now. The reason. Plain and simple, money. If you look most 06 class independents retail between $7000-$8000. Do the math. You could stand to save you some big money and put the savings towards mods. Then go kick all the stock 08's around. Just my point. Good luck in your purchase.

My dad looked at a BF when he got the KQ. He turned it down because it felt like it was going to roll ever turn because it's so top heavy.

People say you can fix that by changing the tires and/or rims, but if you're spending $8,000+ on an ATV, you shouldn't need to spend more just to make it feel normal.

Go with a KQ, or a Grizzly even.

$8000.00? Was this Brute made of carbon fiber? hehehe they don't cost anywhere NEAR 8,000.00 and if you shift your body weight like you're supposed to you won't have any issues.

Considering my dad rode dirtbikes/ATVs for over 25 years or so, I don't think he has an issue with knowing how to lean on a turn.

And sorry, I don't pay for the things; it was an educated guess. What do the BFs go for?
