Default Knocking Lakota Sport

I have a 2003 Lakota Sport 300. I love it, really fast. I just starting hearing a very loud knocking noise coming from the engine only when the engine is good a warm, approximately 15 min of riding before knocking starts. Is it not getting enough oil? Is it a Rod? Piston slap? No loss of power or loss of performance. Any ideas ?

sounds like its coming from the cylinder area but its hard to pin point. It gets pretty loud/hard. you can hear it from 20ft or so away.

well i'm not saying that it is this but its possible that it could be that your timing chain has streched and needs replaced along with the tensionor

Is it more towards a click. If it's a click that'd be the cam chain. If it's very loose it will chatter quite loudly.
