650 or 700

All things being equal, would you buy a new 650BF SRA or an '05 prairie 700, and why. After playing around with brands for a bit I thing I'll be back on a kawi. I can get a new BF for $6100 or so, and I've got a line on an '05 for around $4600. If the BF is really a better bike, I might not mind the extra cost, but if not then I don't want to waste money. I sold my last ride over a year ago and haven't really kept up on things, so I don't even know why the discontinued the 700. So if they were problematic or anything, I would really like to know.
thanks once again.

No sweat.
I would defitnitely pick P700 over 650BF SRA. I would not pick 50 cc less egnine - they are very same machines if not totally mechanically identical except the engine size and the plastics. The 650BF has more aggressive look but I really don't care about the look. The P700 is an overall excellent machine. I don't think Kawi discontinued P700 because it's problematic. Both are SRA and their reliability is about the same. It (engine size) was just too close to the 750.

700 all the way!!! I raced a piped jetted prairie 650 and whooped it every time with my 700 (at the time it was stock). We raced in 2 wheel, 4 wheel, high range, and low range with the same results.
I have not had a single problem with my prairie.

No question...go with the BF!!! Why?...Runs cooler, looks a lot better, and doesn't have the really, terrible, cheap, plastic as found on the Prairie. Oh,...and yes...it's newer! I mean, really ,unless your always racing at top speed, what's a few cc's?

I happen to own both atv's...
IMO the 700 is better....(it just is)
as far as cooling is concerned, the 650 is just as good if you keep the back side of the radiator clean...
Both machines are a little cold blooded at start-up...
Same frame/parts etc...
I don't mean to contradict myself here, but you really can't go wrong w/ either...
If price is a concern, dsefinately get teh 700...
Good luck!!!
