I'm new to the kfx700 and wanted to know about the best performance mods out there. I don't want to lose the stock pipe, I like it quiet where I ride. I looked at the website 700v.com saw all the different color springs and there ratings. I was left confused. What is stall? Is it the time before the atv takes off when you hit the throttle? I would like to do any cheap upgrade to get it a little bit faster. I mostly trail ride and hit an occasional field or two. What spring would be the best to notice the most power gain and still be able to ride slow too???

 

Look at the FAQ at the 700v.com website, he explains what the stall and shiftout numbers mean. The EPI red spring is supposed to be the best on a stock motor. You can also pick up a couple of HP cheap by putting the 6-degree key in.

 

nothing wrong with keeping the stock exhaust. you would feel a big gain with a k&n filter-jet kit combo and a dyna ignition. hope you like wheelies.
