Kawasaki 300KLF-Whats it worth?
#1
Alright I am sick of looking at this thing in my garage and it not working. I called the local dealership and they want $400-$500 to fix it. I think that it is the starter. It is a 95 Kawasaki Bayou 2X4 with new Vamps on it and a new battery. What is an honest selling price for a bike like this that does not currently run. I think it may be something simple, but no real way to tell for sure.
Any ideas!

If you jump start the engine and if it cranks OK and has a reasonable compression and gives a good blue spark - we can assume that your 300 has a mechanically OK engine and ignition system. Probably it will need a good carb cleaning job at the least.
If I am in a market for a quad like that, I would pay around $600 if it is in a real good cosmetic condition, but not more than that with no-running engine. If the engine runs at all, I would pay up to $900.
