Default A LITTLE ADVISE ON A MOJAVE!!!

Hello. I am hoping you guys can help me out. I have a 97 Mojave for my wife. It has been well cared for. I know how to properly maintain my equipment. I mostly work on sleds so i can use a little guidance on this. The Mojave likes to pop out of gear every now and then and sometimes there are missed shifts. The bike also lurches when placed into gear when the motor is cold- sometimes it even kills the motor. The clutch is adjusted properly according to the Kawasaki shop manual. I think the clutch plates are either worn or warped. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

it could be a bent shift fork, thats what it sounds like. I would take off the clutch cover and see what it looks like in there.

I had both two and 4-stroke Yamaha bikes jump forward when put in gear(clutch not working), I hear it is normal on a lot of bikes when cold
