i went riding with my buddies brand new kfx450r it is bad a$$, he is still breaking it in, he turned the governor on half throttle so he could still ride hard with out running it to hard on the trails. Even at half throttle it was a beast.

has anybody else rode with a kfx450r if so what do you think of them?

all i have to say is, the yfz's need to watch out!!!!

 

I just looked at one this weekend and they look great. I think I will be getting one this summer.

they do look sick, i'm convincing my cousin to sell his crf450 dirtbike and get the kawi, i really like all the colours too

 

The black bike with black rims looks pretty sick for this bike. When did they start selling them in the dealerships.

 

I know of 2 dealerships in iowa that already have them.

I priced one OTD in Iowa is 8100.

 

I could not tell you what the actual price from the dealer, Igot a special deal on a early release bike

 

can you give a little more detailed ride report about it other than you "smoked a built 660 crapter" ? how does it handle? is it balanced? how are the shocks? how does the engine deleiver the power? have you noticed any quirks with it? have you ridden the other 450s enough to give a good comparative report on the KFX, other than its better (since you own it)details man!
