buying used 700 kfx any advice would be helpful

Im getting ready to buy a used 2004 kfx 700 automatic. Im not a big quad mechanic so is there anything to look out for b4 i buy? I own a polaris 325 (stop laughing) and i need something with alittle more power that can do a wheelie. i also ride with the kids on there eton 90(about 75% of the time) and would like to know can a winch be hooked up? Im not into jumps but would like to be able to pull the wheels on demand(this may help me learn to do wheelies on my r1 motorcycle too. The price is so cheap compared to some 4x4 quads thats why im getting 1 this fast instead of a bigger utility quad, Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You own a Yamaha R1 and you don't know how to do wheelies yet? Maybe you should have bought a little less of a bike to start out? Not to sound like an *** but seriously that is alot of bike. I've been riding/racing 2 wheelers since I was 5 going on 22 years experience now, and I opted for a R6 a few years back over an R1 for 1. 0-60 it's only a few tenths slower,2. 1/4 mile time same story. If I were you, definately get a steering damper if you don't have one already. Makes it less twitchy. Brian

My wife has a kfx 700 she loves it. great power easy to ride with our four year old . 2 things bad unless your a bigggggg boy the ride is a little rough . also needs stearing stablizer if riding rough ground other wise it will wear your arms out. other wise preety good allround bike .
