break-in tips

put her in the mud for first time...
WOWZA

goes like a tank, had to get off and make sure I didnt have tracks on it...

I hope the "ride it hard" theory holds water. Broke in the new BF 750 saturday night with 80 miles of hard riding. Got it up to 71mph before I backed off of it (didn't want to overrev so early). Hopefully it will be one of the faster engines (I'm 220lbs)...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Ride it like a man and it will be a man. Ride it like a wuss and it will be a wuss. There is no hard evidence on any break in procedure. All I can say is buy two bikes BREAK ONE IN LIGHTLY AND THE OTHER HARD. race them. and see who wins. I'll make a wager on that one.

I used this method(ride it hard) on my 1993 fourtrax. It still runs like a top with over 10000 miles on it.
