If it makes ya feel any better, the kfx400 is the same way.

Worst part on mine was putting it back together. Spent 10 minutes trying to find the vent tube for the gas cap. Finally found it tucked in the handle bars. Right where I put it, so I wouldn't lose it.

My Prairie 300 is the same way. At first I thought that it would be a pain, but it really wasn't that bad. Once you do it once, you'll have the hang of it. Also, I have found that the plug doesn't need changed very often. It may be worth purchasing the Service Manual, that is what I did and it paid for itself time and again. Good luck on the new bike.

The rear plug on the Brute Force sucks.

I used the plug wrench that came with my XR 70 on my old ltz, it worked good for gettin the plug out. Just unscrew it and use a magnet to lift it out. Didnt need to remove anything

That is pretty much a standard for the sport quads, and the 450's even more so.

I know, i couldnt believe it when i noticed that on my DVX. atleast on the z400 and kfx the plastics arent all one piece like the DVX. Such a pain in the a$$, almost about an hour before i get it apart then change the plug and plastics back on
