Default Today I am a ATV OWNER Burte force

I have a smile from ear to ear today I purchased my first ATV a Brute force 650 2005. I have been wanting to buy a ATV for years, but I have been lucky having a brother in law with 2 ATV so I always had one to borrow, a yamaha timber wolf 250 and a big bear 400. Last summer he ended up selling both of them and picked up a Grizzly 660 and let me standing high and dry. The other day our income tax return came in and the wife gave me the go ahead, I have been looking regurarly at eBay and other sources for new and used ATV, so with the holiday coming up we both had the day off and went to look at the local dealers at the time I was planning on buying new something mid range, 350cc 4x4 4x2 nothing over the top. Then on our third stop a (Honda dealer sorry) the sales rep was going down some features on a Honda rancher, and mention they had a brute force 650 on sale for 4200 with only 500 miles, after my wife puts my jaw back in place I am shown this beautiful ATV that was every thing I wanted and a lot more that I thought I never could afford. I am in love with this thing wanting a ATV that will just do now I have this amazing machine my wife is going to have to peel me off this thing tonight.

Congrats on the bike- my dad has an 05 BF 650 and he loves that thing. He has had it for over a year and still brags occasionally about it. I guess one of his neighboring rancher friends had a new 4x4 atv (not sure of the brand, but it wasnt a kawasaki, but it was a comparable big bore bike) and was kinda green that the BF could out work and out-climb it. It seems to be a great bike and I hope that you have a great time with it.

Awome man, you picked up a great atv. Just remember to use LOW gear as much as possible to avoid belt issues. Use LOW when climbing, pulling, mudding, rougher trails and going constanly slow on a trail(15 mph or slower) and you will be fine. Good luck man.

I have a Brute 750i and 360 Prairie both 07's. I have 70 hr's on my brute. Tour a cv boot and got a semi flat rear tire. Headed to Hatfields on a Sunday 4/2 and got the boot repaired in two hours on Monday Am ( $77 ) in Browning Fork not bad. I did not however buy a new tire. J ust used the green stuff slime. Held up for four hours.Made it back to town with a inch of air. Made my trip back unenjoyable. My wife just loved her 360.The 360 is not fast but is built for strengh. It's a bulldog in the snow. Althought 6k is alot to pay for a 360. She's worth it. Just ask her.

Some radials and rims with a bit more offset would be my first purchase. I've always had good luck with dennis kirk or rocky mountain atv. Then I'd be investing in shocks from elka or maybe works suspension. Really improves the handling. You have a dandy machine to play with. It's one of the best machines out there to mod and hot rod. That Kawi V-twin is just oodles and gobs of fun in my book. Once I had the suspension working well then I'd start tweaking the engine to see if I could wring a bit more power out of the V-twin.
