Default lakota 13t sprocket

Can anyone post a direct link or part number of a 13t front sprocket that will work on a lakota from www.denniskirk.com ? I'm guessing the larger sprocket on the front would give more top end but less low end correct? If so why do so many have this mod? The quad feels fast but the low end is horrible. No wheelies or crazy roosts at full throttle, so what I'm looking for is low end. Also, to anyone who has gotten cwr engine work done, about how much does it costs to send the engine out? What about for the whole engine work, what would the total be around?

Thanks

I ordered my 13T from Rocky Mountain ATV, part# 34213. If you are looking for more low end, then you may want to go with the 11T sprocket, part # 34211. When I modded my lakota I did the pipes, jetting, filter, and sprocket at the same time. I didnt notice a loss of the low end at all. Just for giggles I put back on my 12T (factory) sprocket and first gear seemed too low to be useful. The front end on the lakotas are very heavy (in my opinion) and it takes a lot of effort to get the front end up, but it does come up. The lakota is not a racing bike but it is a great performer for 300cc's with an auto clutch. Also do you have stock rear tires on yours? I do, and I havent gotten any crazy roosters either but the tires do definately spin, I think with different tires the launch on the bike would be a different experience, but I am just guessing. holeshotz8436 is currently having the kit installed on his lakota and says he will soon be letting us know the difference it made. I soon plan on getting the full setup myself (big bore kit, cam, valves, clutch springs, and eventually suspension) but I will be doing the install myself. If you read the topic 335 CWR kit for Bayou 300 I posted the website that has the kit and the site has prices. I will probably have to go to a local machine shop to get it bored out for the new sleeve, and I have no idea how much that costs. Good luck and let us know what you do! BTW, Sprocket Specialists has a huge selection of many teeth sprockets for front and rear. Bigger on front and smaller on back = more top end, smaller on front and bigger on back = more low end.

I have the dynojet kit, dg exhaust, and just ordered a twinair filter, new oil filter and battery. THat's very true about how low 1st gear is, I guess the engine just doesnt have as much torque as I'd like, having ridden kfx's and brutes all the time. I'll start saving for the 335 kit and see how it feels then.

if you want a 11 tooth, 12 tooth or 13 tooth front you cant beat the price of the rockymountain sprockets. They are a decent quality as well
