Default Engine Brake Actuator????? newbie needs help

I have a 05 BF650, my problem is the engine brake actuator. I didn't have a problem the first year or so but the last year it has given me problems 2wd/4wd 1 second interval (total 2sec) . I shut the BF off and sometimes it resets and others it doesn't. I have a Service manual but not much help to this point. Called Kawi service tech not much help. Should I just buy a new, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Engine Brake Actuator????? newbie needs help

welcome. Those dumb actuators are really dumb. Mine gave me problems with flashing lights so what i did(as ALLOT do) was put a peice of electrical tape over my flashing light and take the actuator force out from the actuator(inside the cvt cover). It was real simple and now i dont have to worry about the engine brake actuator anymore and i like it better this way also. SO if your only problem is lights flashing and your 4x4 still works, just take the fork out and put a peice of tape over the annoying light.
