26" or 27" Mudzillas on BF 750
#1
So I'm picking up the new bike this week (possibly today :chill ). First upgrade is going to be the tires. The two guys I primarily ride with both have the Mudzilla's and they seem to do real good in the mud we get into. One guy has 26" on a Foreman 500 and the other guy has 27" on a Sportsman 700.
I'm set on the tire, but torn between which size to get. Are 27" to much for a stock 750 (I don't plan any other mods for a while)? Will they even fit right without spacers? Obviously the 27s will be better in the mud, but how much better? And how much will having the 27s cost me on trail performance when compared to the 26s?
Our riding is probably 60% trails and 40% mud, but when we get into the mud it is bad (glades swamp), thus the reasoning for going with a tire thats primarily for mud. Hopefully I'll be able to get another set of tires for the trail in the near future (like when I hit the lottery LOL)...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Great forum you all have here. Looking forward to posting/learning more in the future. Thanks.

27's will fit just fine, I run 27" outlaws on my bike (650i) and they fit just fine. Only problem you may run into is belt slipping in really deep mud, that's the problem I am running into. However you can order better springs for like $20. I say go 27" !

I have 28's on my 750 BF, with a chip, and i do just fine, i ended up having to get wheel spacers, but i didnt need them with the 27's, the only thing about the Mudzillas is trail riding, your side lugs seem to catch everything, just a heads up, but i love the 28's, and there is little to no differance in weight between the 2 tires 27/28's i read somewhere about 2 lbs per tire.. so your call, just letting you know how i find things, hope this helped a little,

which ever size you pick, dont go muddin in high range you will smoke a belt always use lo range and pick yourself up a pen-loc front differential loc so you dont have to hold in that stupid lever to lock the front end
