Default 2005 HONDA 400EX NO CRANK

Hello Out There,Have had my first problem with my new 400EX.
Last night i parked it in the shop , turned off ignition, and removed the key.Came to work this A.M and pushed the quad outside. Later in the day i

Went out to start it up , put the key in the ignition and turned it on ,Noticed the green neutral light was,nt lit so i hit the starter switch and nothing.
I read the owners manual and checked the different possibilities.
After checking everthing over , everything seemed to be right,so i decided to put it in first gear and roll it a couple of inches, then put it back in neutral .
Turned the ignition switch to on and the green light came on,Hit the starter switch and it started right up.
Kind of wierd i thought.
Anyone else have this happen.
You would think the Manufacturer would put this info in the Trouble shoothing section.

Sounds like the switch that senses neutral is a little bit out of adjustment. It will start in any gear with the clutch pulled in anyway (or in neutral with the clutch out like you were trying to do), so it's not like you need to always be finding neutral to start it.
