Default Hard Starting P360

My girlfriends P360 is a cold blooded beast. We put the choke on to start it and let it run a few seconds and ease the choke off..... It dies. We start it up again and let it warm up using a little throttle. Still won't idle. Start it again and ride for a little bit and then it idles fine for the rest of the day. Its an 07 and only has about 20 hours on it so I guess I am gonna take it back to the Stealer so they can have a look. Just thought someone may have an idea to check out before I take the trip. Thanks

I turned the idle up 1/4 to 1/2 of a turn clockwise. Made a world of difference...It is on the belt side...Long adjusting screw behind the KEBC

I always cranked the idle up so it would run without me constantly babysitting it, then after it warmed up cranked the idle back down to a good RPM, as you know if will run fine once it warms up..

My 360 is cold blooded as well. I just keep the choke on for awhile and let it warm up a bit. Really cold weather it can take maybe five minutes to get warm enough to idle with the choke off.

I think if u turn it 1/4 turn and leave it there, u will have no issues. At least i have not, but i only have 150 miles on my wife's machine

Yeah I have had the same problem. Mine always starts right up no matter how cold but used to take a long time to warm up and idle without attention. When going on a run most others would get their bikes going and warming up but I always waited until we were ready to go and left cold --- just did not push it hard to start. Then I started taking it for a quick run for five minutes or so before doing any work etc.

On the last service check I had the valves loosened to the maximum standard and this has helped a lot. virtually not a problem now. I am told these beasts have notouriously tight valves.

Thanks y'all for your input.... I'll give the idle adjust a try and see what happens.
