Default Mojave Chain Problem

Has anyone ever had a problem with the chain tensioner getting stripped or anything like that?

I'll be honest, I've never actually taken it apart. My dad changed the axle once after some D'A** I let ride it ran into a tree and bent it. I bought a new chain because I still had the stock one in and I figured it might have stretched since the accident. Did everything correctly, and it still loosens up. This last time I really cranked on it so it's tight.

I really don't want to take it apart, but I figured I'd at least ask if anyone has had a similiar situation with theirs.

It's a 2000, been rode to sh*t, but is a little b-a88 machine never the less.

thanks for the info

Randall
