Default kfx400 help

so i just got a 2004 400

i got a great deal on it under 2000 looks to be in great shape

heres the bad news it runs but not so great

i drove it around a little today and figured that the gas was crap so drained it and put some fresh stuff in with a little seafoam. after riding it for an hour i noticed it likes to stall unless im giving it gas. so after messing around trying to get it to idle after a few rips i gave up. the only time it will idle is right from start up or if i have the clutch in and rev it a few time then it will idle fine . but any time with a load then to idle it stalls.

any sug.

i guess carb cleaning?

i work on car alot is this somthing i can do or should the shop take care of it

if its shop work whats a good price or is there anyone in mass i can pay

Clean the carb is the first step. Check the needle valve and see how it looks.

You shouldn't have any problems doing it yourself.
