i have a 2000 lakota and its a good quad but it sucks in snow and the shocks bottom out on big jumps but it has good brakes and handles good for trail riding and little jumps

I have an '00 Lakota and I think it does pretty good in the snow and jumping, I beat my friends racing all the time, they have a '01 Beartracker and an old oydessy. I havent bottomed out yet either and I jump mine alot.

I have a '00 Lakota. I like mine pretty well. After a few mods. it really picked it up. I have been up about 5' and landed very well. I removed the front and rear racks. Without the rear rack the machine feels and handles so much better since you can move around more. Sit back on the seat a little bit, slight tug on the bars and ride a wheelie as long as I want to, almost anyway. I highly recommend a pipe and rejetting the carb.. I run 8 disks in my Supertrapp and it sounds pretty cool.

I have a 2001 Lakota. I have been riding for 15 years. I have had a Suzuki 230 quad sport, and a Tacate. I wish the Lokota was faster, once you own a Tacate, you know what speed is. I plan on some mods, but I am still geting familar with the bike. I have jumped it up to 4 ft, and it does not bottom out and I am a big guy. Handles very well. I looked at a lot of quads before I bought this one and I think it is the best deal for the money. I am happy with it so far.
