what can i do with the terrible black prairie plastic

Does anyone know of a different palstice i can use on my 2002 650 prairie the crap i buy cracks almost as soon as i put it on. I dont over tighten the screws and it still cracks
any Ideas?????

Leave it off and trim the plastic for a sportier look.
