My old quad is causing me a problem. It starts up fine and idles well. There are times it runs great and revs well. Other times it boggs right off idle. When i give it more gas it will stummble and not rev up. The air correction just flutters up and down. Next time I start it, it might run well, then another time not. I have checked and cleaned the carb more times then I care to admit. The spark seems to be a faint light yellow color. I am stumped. Any ideas? Thanks Doran

 

I have a 89 bayou 300 4x4 it had the same problem it would spit and fall on face as long as you idled it would run fine then next it all run fine no problems so I changed the cdi box it worked great all ran fine now we changed the voltage regulator box and checked all wire and as soon as you start it the volt box heats up hot but all runs fine so I unplug volt box and charge bat my self off wheeler do u have help for hope this helped u jmat3
