a few times now, been out in some heavy mud and dirty areas. It seems if the mud and dirt packs in the front it build up on the radiator.
When this happens, I am not gettting cool enough with the riding we do. I get the blinking light on the dash and am afraid of over heating.
Anybody else having these issues? Anbydo come up with more protection for the radiator? Was thinking about some diamond mesh or something in front of the radiator grill, both front and back...

been checking out a lot of sites and getting info.
looks like for starters, synthetic oil and better coolant for starters. Keep it as clean as possible on the trail and allshould be well.
the synthetic oil shouldnt get as hot as reg. oil and the better coolant will keep heating levels down. I think carrying some water to clean it out on the trail is key too for those times when you just cant keep it out of the mud and dust. Lets fact it, thats kinda hard to do.
