No problems at all that I have heard of. I have a Buddy who has one & he rides hard all day on the '08.
The heat on your left leg is from the exhaust header, also be sure to loctite your heat shied bolts. You may need to have your Header pipes coated to prevent the heat biuld-up.

I am not sure if they make a moose module for 2008 750's yet.
I know they released a "optimizer" for you to be able to play with how much gas the FI gives. I know Planobrute has one on Highlifter website. That is useful for changing altitude and adding a pipe, K&N so it dosen't lean out when added.
